The VE.Bus BMS is to be used in conjunction with the Victron Energy Smart LiFePO4 Batteries and it protects each individual cell. When using the VE.Bus BMS, each individual cell will be protected against over/under-voltage and over-temperature. Victron LiFePO4 batteries have integrated cell Balancing, Temperature and Voltage control (acronym: BTV) and connect to the VE.Bus BMS with two M8 circular connector cord sets.The BTVs of multiple batteries can be daisy chained together.
